Deer antlers grow at a rate of one inch or more per day, representing the fastest rate of organ growth in the animal kingdom. They can reach over six feet in diameter and weigh several hundred pounds. The antlers contain over one hundred active constituents, eighteen growth factors (including an all-natural form of IGF-1, the metabolite of HGH), somatic stem cells, ectosaponins, all essential and non-essential amino acids, multiple neurotransmitters and polypeptide combinations, and a natural balanced matrix of growth factors with their cofactor/coenzyme counterparts.

Deer antlers transform each year from cartilage to a state of calcification before naturally falling off and regenerating itself. Velvet deer extract comes from clipping a certain type of deer’s antlers while in this soft cartilage state during mating season. The stags are never in danger during the process.
